Meet Julie Pallesen, founder of This Way Movement.

Movement has always been part of Julie’s story. From a professional dance career to moving to Paris at just 18 to pursue her dreams, movement has shaped the way she lives, connects and expresses herself.

Years later, that lifelong relationship with movement became This Way Movement — born from a desire to create something deeper than a workout. A space rooted in intention, strength, connection and an understanding of the body.

From our studio in Costa Rica to our teacher trainings and retreats around the world, her philosophy remains the same: movement is more than what we do — it’s how we connect, grow and come home to ourselves.
